How to migrate tokens from Metamask to the IPMB Wallet

Wondering how to move your tokens from your web3 wallet to your IPMB wallet?

This blog will guide you through the process of moving your IPMB Tokens from Metamask.

Before we begin, ensure you’ve set up and securely backed up your IPMB Wallet.

Then, follow the instructions below:

1 – Firstly, you’ll need to find your IPMB Token wallet address on the IPMB Wallet.

2 – You should see the IPMB Token at the top of your portfolio on the wallet home screen. Otherwise, if you can’t see it anywhere, click ‘Add Asset’ and add IPMB.

3 – Click on the IPMB Token and then go and click ‘Receive’.

4 – You’ll then see a wallet address. Tap to copy.’ Use this to copy your wallet address.

5 – Head over to Metamask now.  Ensure your wallet is set on the polygon network.

6 – You’ll need some Matic in your wallet for any transactions. Polygon fees are low, so any amount of Matic should be fine.

7 – On Metamask, find the send button on the home screen. Now paste your IPMB wallet address that you copied earlier into this box.

8 – In the ‘Asset’ box, select IPMB Token.

9 – In the amount box, enter the amount of IPMB Tokens you intend to transfer.

10 – Confirm all details are correct before making the transaction; if they are, you’re ready to send. Remember that tokens sent to the wrong address cannot be retrieved.

11 – The tokens should appear in your IPMB Wallet shortly after sending
